You know, it's officially been a year since I started this. I'm gonna celebrate the longevity of this trend with a list!

tentative - not certain or fixed; unconfirmed
propriety - the state or quality of conforming to conventionally accepted standards of behavior or morals.
foramen - an opening, hole, or passage, especially in a bone
precarious - not securely held or in position; dangerously likely to fall or collapse

apiary - a place where bees are kept
balmy - pleasantly warm.
respite - a short period of rest or relief from something difficult or unpleasant.

briny - of salty water or the sea; salty.
contagion - the communication of disease from one person to another by close contact.
behoove - it is a duty or responsibility for someone to do something; it is incumbent on.
caprice - a sudden and unaccountable change in mood or behavior.
phalanx - a body of troops or police officers, standing or moving in close formation.
japan - cover (something) with a hard black varnish
malignant - malevolent
inconstancy - not constant; changeable; fickle; variable
amelioration - the act of making something better; improvement.
extirpate - root out and destroy completely; eradicate
opprobrium - harsh criticism or censure.

camaraderie - mutual trust and friendship among people who spend a lot of time together.
glean - to extract (information) from various sources
vociferous - vehement or clamorous; noisy
acquiesced - accept something reluctantly but without protest.
